Open ended glass tube or cylinder cut to a specific length
with each face cut at a straight angle & machined to a smooth
finish.

Glass Tubes :
- are made of borosilicate glass.
- are manufactured to customer specifications.
- generally range in size from 20 to 200mm OD.
- have wall thicknesses ranging from 2 to 9mm.
- are temperature annealed.
- are quality checked against any remaining stress prior to despatch.
Safe Working Pressure:
Formula: P = 2000 x T / D
where:
P = Safe Working Pressure in PSI
T = Wall Thickness
D = Outside Diameter
T and D in consistent units
Example:
O.D. Tube = 60mm
Wall Thickness= 4.2mm
Safe Working Pressure is: 2000
x 4.2 / 60 = 140 PSI

but can be ordered in for you. Please provide all the necessary
details.
Safe Working Pressure:
Formula: P = (3333 x Tˆ2) / Dˆ2
where:
P = Safe Working Pressure in PSI
T = Thickness
D = Free Diameter
Example:
D = 60mm
Thickness= 5mm
Safe Working Pressure is: (3333
x 5ˆ2) / 60ˆ2 = 23.15 PSI
